点评:A number of us chartered a private boat, and left Stavanger at circa 08:45, heading to Fflori via the Lysefjord. The boat trip took us about 2hrs before we arrived at this quaint little village nestled in amongst the glacial mountains right at the heart of the Lysefjorden. Florli is home to the 4444 - a steep climb up, you guessed it, approx 4,444 steps (a few more than that to be precise but who’s counting!).
The Lysefjord’s views are amazing. I’m not a massive fan of water because it scares me but this trip was worth the initial fear because the scenery witnessed during that boat trip is like nothing I’ve experienced before.
For any lover of the great outdoors, a trip along this water course is a must. I was fortunate that the weather was kind the day we went so the waters were calm and the inspiring.
I was fortunate to be part of a large enough group that we could charter a boat to take us to Florli and back (we left Florli at 16:00hra to return to Stavanger after about 4hrs of exploring the quaint delights of this village and its surrounding trials), but there are also local boat operators who offer day excursions for about £100-£150 pp. Would definitely recommend spending a day on the Lysefjord if you get the chance… and a trip to Florli if you fancy something different.
