Private Ha Long Bay day excursion

点评：If you are traveling to Vietnam Ha Long Bay is an absolute must. We booked a private excursion with shoreexcursions.asia. The excursion was more then we expected.
Our day began with our guide Mr. Tuyen meeting us at the cruise port dock. We then proceed for our first stop, we were taken to see how pearls are processed. From the invitro process to harvesting to how the pearls are rated. Very interesting.
We then processed on our journey with Mr. Tuyen to a local village where a festival was happening. During the drive he told us about the Vietnam history and the Vietnam War and the United States involvement. Extremely informative.
We then saw a water puppet performance. Then we proceded to learn about harvesting rice and how rice flour is made. We then had a 5 course authentic Vietnamese lunch.
We then drove to Ha Long Bay where we embarked on a private boat to cruise to the caves and around the bay to see all of the rock formations.
This day was the perfect way to end our 43 day Asian Cruise. You cannot go wrong with this excursion and Mr. Tuyen as your guide.
