点评：The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic is a treasure. They have an observation deck which provides a lovely view of the Harbourfront. You can see two museum ships that are docked nearby. On the left is the CSS Acadia, built in 1913, and was used for oceanography. The ship on the right is HMCS Sackville, built in 1941. It was the last Corvette built and is now a Naval Memorial ship.
Halifax was the nearest major port to the sinking of the Titanic. The crew of the cable ship Minia recovered several artifacts from the Titanic, including a deck chair, a newel-post from one of Titanic's Grand Staircase landings, and a pair of child's shoes.
They had a room devoted to the Halifax explosion in 1917. The exhibit was called "Collision in the Narrows". This disaster was the largest human-induced disaster prior to the use of the atomic bombs.
