点评:We drove over an hour to visit this 4-Corners Trading Post. The store seemed to be a strange mix of items, mostly hardware and grocery store items with a small room sparsely stocked with Indian made items. I had to go find someone to fetch a few things for me to see, they were displayed very out of reach and were priced 25% higher than the other trading posts we visited in the area, and nothing out of the ordinary or very "special".
There were two other customers there while we looked around, and before leaving without purchasing, I asked as I passed the counter if they had any other Indian made things. We were guided reluctantly thru a locked door into a room full of beautiful handmade pieces that were again very over priced, (see photo on the left). We left feeling somewhat sad, were watched in that room as though we would steal. The Kachina figures were presented as Hopi, however, we knew the difference from other trading posts who pointed out the Navajo-made Hopi style figures. In a more welcoming environment we may have made a purchase, but felt uncomfortable. I would suggest about any other trading post in that area.
