The Flight Experience的点评
点评：I was given this flight experience as a Xmas gift and as a helicopter pilot wondered what the dark-side was like and I was not disappointed!
What an incredible experience and so good I got home afterwards as booked another (longer) visit.
I chose to fly the Airbus A320 as it’s side stick control which is close to helicopter cyclic so I’d have a level of familiarity.
Will met me at reception and explained the process carefully and clearly then we were in the cockpit ready to go through startup, flight computer route planning and power requirements. Thankfully the A320 is relatively easy to get going and it was great getting a good understanding of fixed wing commercial flying and utilising the Flight Director and ILS, etc. (Note : you don’t have your do all of this but I wanted to do it all!!).
First we did a circuit of Newcastle (EGNT-EGNT) with a non-crash landing 😉.
We then flew to Leeds Bradford, on to Birmingham and then our final destination, 27R at London Heathrow which as my fourth landing, wasn’t bad at all.
You can fly the plane fully manually or use autopilot or use Will I guess so whatever you’re comfortable with is what you can do. There is zero pressure on you to do anything other than just enjoy the experience!
My experience was 2 hours- that’s realistically getting a full go with practice. Minimum I would think would be an hour as it’s surprising how quickly it passes.
I can’t recommend this highly enough both in the technical experience and in the customer service.
A special thanks to Will for being a great tutor, better Captain and good craic- I wish you well in your future career. You’ll be great.

首先，我们绕纽卡斯尔飞行了一圈（EGNT-EGNT），并且没有发生紧急着陆😉。我们随后飞往利兹布拉德福德，再飞往伯明翰，最终目的地是伦敦希思罗机场的27R航站楼，这是我第四次落地，感觉还不错。
你可以完全手动驾驶飞机，也可以使用自动驾驶仪，或者使用Will的帮助，我想，只要你觉得舒服，就可以做。除了享受这段体验之外，你没有任何压力！
我的体验是2个小时——这实际上就是一次完整的练习。我认为最短也应该是一个小时，因为时间过得真快，真是令人惊讶。
无论是技术体验还是客户服务，我都强烈推荐这家公司。
特别感谢Will，他是一位很棒的导师、更优秀的机长，也带来了很多乐趣——祝你未来的职业生涯一切顺利。你会很棒的。
