点评:The topography of the Wadi Rum area is spectacular, no doubt. How they have wandered & existed in this harsh environment for eons is amazing but good luck to them. The local Bedouins have the game sewed up now and are making a good living from the worlds interest for their country and the amazing scenes. I was disappointed that the night stars were not as bright as I'd have thought, don't know if it was thermal layer or interference on my one night in the region? But the Rocks, cliffs & strata layers on view in daylight were otherworldly. No wonder The Martian & Star Wars movie pick here as another planet experience. A highlight for me was a 2hr+ Jeep tour with a Bedouin tea stop and stopping at Lawrence of Arabia's camp from WW1, both good memories and well worth the time spent. An interesting time spent driving around the spectacular Wadi Rum and appreciating the history of the region.
