点评：A weird and unnecessary outting. I really wish we hadn’t bothered with this, but we wanted a day away from Vieux Quebec. Aside from the fact that we discovered, once we’d paid our entrance fee, that there are at least three separate ways to enter the park by public path, the primary disappointment is that this site looks like the aftermath of an extreme fracking episode: one whole side of the mountain has been stripped of its trees in what can only have been an environmental misadventure. It gives off post-apocalyptic environmental disaster vibes and the falls are nothing special in this context. It’s crowded in the summer and because you’re confined to a narrow path, it feels a bit like you’re being herded, single-file. But also expect to be stuck behind people who need to video tape their entire experience. While walking very slowly. Parking and signage are both very confusing. There are two different lots - one above and one below - and this will make a difference as to whether you climb up or down the 400 wooden steps. Park above, walk down, and take the gondola back up.
