国会山庄的点评
点评：This is the seat of power and government capital of Canada. It is where you find a complex of three (West, Central and East) Gothic Revival buildings that make up Canadian Parliament. While we didn't do any tours within the available blocks of Parliament, we did enjoy spending around an hour exploring the Hill grounds viewing the buildings and monuments to be seen here.
Presently the Central block is under restorations scheduled to be finished around 2030-31. Unfortunately this means quite a bit of the building are difficult to view from the outside due to scaffolding and tarps covering various parts of the building. However, you can still view Peace Tower clearly from various locations around the Hill.
The East and West blocks remain functioning. Summer visitations can be arranged through the Parliament of Canada website. The buildings were constructed in the mid 19th-century and are a charming example of Gothic Revival architecture. There are quite a few monuments scattered around Parliament Hill as well. You will see them throughout as you explore the area.
