点评:I have lived in Airlie beach/cannonvale for nearly 4 years and take the bus several times a week. Today when I gave the bus driver a $1 coin and said “into town please”, he asked “day?” I didn’t know what he meant so he repeated “day?” I still didn’t know what he meant so I asked him and he said “day - different than night - do you want a day pass?” I had never heard it referred to that way so I said no as I didn’t know what time I was going back. As I was going to my seat I thought “what an a@@@@@@”, so I went back to him and said “you don’t have to be an a@@@@@@”. Another woman who got off at the same place told me that he had been rude to her as well a few days back and that she complained. I’m a local - I can only imagine what he does to tourists! I have lived in major cities all over the world, including Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast here in Australia, using public transport, and I have never encountered such rudeness in a bus driver. This guy needs retraining in how to treat people!! (But then again he might be, like me, an American who is grieving for his country - in which case, I understand.). And it seems he gave me a $1 ticket after all. The sooner you guys implement self-ticketing, the better.
