点评:This review is for the Greensboro arboretum at 3299 Starmount Drive- I'm not sure why the Tripadvisor address says Ashland Drive. Other than the entrance being slightly difficult to find, the gardens were beautiful. Each area of tree/bush types is labeled and described. At the entrance to the park, you can take a map so you can see which areas you'd like to cover. We went on a hotter than usual day for Greensboro, so many times we tried to walk in the shady areas. There is a paved walkway all around the park. There are benches in some areas to sit. The area is very spread out so it never felt like it was crowded (we went on a Friday). There are lots of flower gardens, vine areas, and a beehive area (the latter is properly marked/cordoned off and there are caution signs in case you are allergic to bee stings). There are information plaques around the different plant areas for those of you who like more information about what you are looking at. We spent about an hour which took us through almost the entire walking trail, but if you want to be leisurely, you could easily spend two hours. Note- the gardens do have different elevations, so wear proper walking shoes if you want to get the full experience. I wouldn't recommend open-toed shoes unless you want to stay only on the walking path only. I would go again.
