点评:Cottam’s Ski. Shop has been sold by Christy’s but is the same great rental place it has been for the last decade, probably longer. The people who work there were very helpful with getting me going with my ski and pole rental. Skis were Vokyl(?) Deacon 80s which were quite new. The poles were so new they still had the tags on them. Very good gear for base level rentals.
On the web, they are now called Big Kahuna. No evidence of that name in real life at any of their stores (Taos, Taos Ski Valley, Santa Fe). If you drive down the road and look for Big Kahuna you will never find them. Instead look for Cottam’s.
One thing they did get with the change in ownership was a new computerized reservation system. Calling it a mess is charitable. To find my reservation, they needed an order number not included on the confirmation. The number on the confirmation was useless for searching. Plus typical reservation options were missing.
To give the staff credit, they worked around the problem quite well by reconstructing my order and getting me on my way. They deserve double pay for having that abortion of a reservation system afflicted on them.
滑雪板是 Vokyl(?)
