点评：This is a cleansing purification experience at a waterfall, it is not a simple visit to a waterfall. From arriving you are guided and supported to get the most beautiful experience. You are provided with a sarong, towel, access to lockers, and a basket of offerings. The guide is exclusive to you and will take photos and videos if you require. My guide was amazing, he was a lovely man who explained the various ‘gods’ ensuring I was getting a spiritual experience as well as seeing the beauty of the location. You do walk barefoot and parts are cobbled and wet though my guide assisted me throughout. The highlight for me was the stepping into the two huge waterfalls, the first to remove negativity allowing me to scream my frustrations away and the second to bring positivity when I sang my special song. I surprised myself in how I lost my inhibitions going into both waterfalls and just embraced the experience. I don’t think it matters what you faith or even lack of faith, the cleansing is about the individual and having time to focus on you, open yourself up and enjoy the beauty of rapid flowing water to ease away the stresses of life. If you are looking for grabbing a few photos in a waterfall then this might not be for you and there are plenty of other places you can do that around Ubud, however if you are looking for something more meaningful then the cleansing ritual is an amazing experience.
