What a wonderful experience!

点评：If you're looking to find the best places to see and photograph some really exciting species of birds in Northern Spain, then look no further.
Al is very affable and his extensive knowledge of the areas that we explored on his 'Winter Wonders of Northern Spain' tour gave us first-rate views of many new species. His persistence, patience and assistance with the photography contributed to a perfect trip. The daunting task of finding the Wallcreepers in the gorges north of Lleida was down to Al's tenacity, despite the challenging weather conditions. It was quite evident that he did not want his clients to return home without having seen a key bird. His excellent positioning of the vehicle for the light conditions allowed us to secure picture perfect photos of the Little owls. And just when we thought the tour was ending without a sighting of the tricky Eagle owl, Al had another location up his sleeve on the way back to the airport, which duly paid off! Another new species ticked off!
So, if you're thinking about a birding holiday in northern Spain I would definitely recommend Ebro Delta Birding which will save you a lot of wasted effort seeking out good spots for birds on your own, as Al can take you to them directly. If you want to forget about having to drive, organize hotels, speak Spanish etc and instead just immerse yourself in the birding then this is the way to go. I will most certainly be repeating the experience in the near future. A ten out of ten from me!
