点评:This was our first time crossing to Savaii, we were dropped off and bought two tickets for 10 tala each. We sat down at the tables waiting for the ferry to unload before our trip. All was going well until some local old busses pulled up waiting for the disembarking passengers. The old diesel busses were chugging away blowing hot smoke and fumes over the tables and waiting people. Once they were loaded up they moved on and we all moved inside waiting to load. There are about six small shops selling basic foods and lollies. The crossing take about 60 minutes. We sat on the top row and could not believe how much the ferry rocked from side to side. The swell was only around 2 m but coming directly side on. Maybe being on the top deck did exaggerate the bouncing. It’s an old tub punching above its weight but I believe it has never broken down. Cheers from Ballarat Australia
