点评：Lower Fort Garry is less than an hour north of Winnipeg, and there's lots to see and learn about. After passing through the Visitor Centre it's a short hike to the Farm Manager's Cottage, Guest House, Blacksmiths and Indigenous Peoples camp, where some furs were being dried and there was an authentically smelly smoky fire, before you reach the stone walls of the old Hudson Bay Company Fort built in 1841. Costumed guides will help explain the sales shop and the massive impressively furnished Governor's house, and there's a York Boat, gunpowder magazine, fur loft, labourer's house and museum. Learn about the Hudson Bay Company, the Metis and treaty No 1, as well as the other things the site was used for. The restaurant at the Visitor Centre does a small lunch time menu which was good value, and there is a picnic shelter. There's also plenty of parking.
