点评：We toured the gardens, visited the conservatory and ate at the restaurant. The conservatory is well worth the entry fee. It’s a little sad to see the birds there have their wings clipped. But the tropical plant life is stunning. The gardens were vibrant with flowers, artfully arranged amongst foliage that came in a huge variety of colours, textures and patterns, and full of bird life including hummingbirds. We took our grandchildren back on another day and they loved hiding inside the Japanese maples. There are plenty of squirrels- and moles! Molehills everywhere. The kids also enjoyed exploring in the wild bits of the park. Lunch at the restaurant was heavenly - for me, anyway. I had the mussels with a side serving of mushrooms. My partner was a little disappointed by the crab cake. But the view is stunning and the service excellent.
