A Beautiful Afternoon at the Legion of Honor
军人荣誉博物馆的点评
点评：I visited the Legion of Honor this past January with two friends, and it turned into one of those classic San Francisco afternoons that reminds you how special this city really is.
The building itself is stunning — the grand columns, the courtyard, and the reflecting pool out front make it feel almost like you’ve stepped into a European museum. Standing there looking back at the architecture alone is worth the visit.
Inside, the museum has an impressive collection of European art and sculpture, and we spent a good amount of time just wandering through the galleries taking it all in at our own pace.
What I always love about the Legion of Honor is the setting. Perched above the cliffs near the Golden Gate, the views around the museum are incredible and make the whole experience feel even more memorable.
It was a perfect afternoon with friends, and it’s definitely one of those places I find myself recommending to visitors and locals alike.
