The “Build Your Own Bourbon” Experience is EPIC!

点评：We joined the Big Machine Brewery & Distillery for their “Blend Your Own Bourbon” class. As a surprise for my husband’s birthday, I knew immediately that I’d chosen the right place when we walked off the busy Downtown Nashville street and what felt like back in time!! The ambiance of the place was amazing: cool, classy, and exactly what I was hoping for. The music was even perfect—not blow your ears out country, but soulful. Gruff. Low key. Like my husband. It went well with his glass of bourbon, he said, which he enjoyed while we waited for the class to begin.
The class was led by a very knowledgeable, capable, friendly guy named Jim, who immediately came to our table upon hearing this was a surprise for my husband. Jim not only led the class in an exceptional experience, but thanks to his expert guidance, we walked out with not one, but TWO bottles of amazingly different flavored bourbons! My husband has already asked if we can do this for his birthday every year, lol.
Whether you’re visiting Nashville from out of town or are just coming for a night on the town, I cannot recommend the “Blend Your Own Bourbon” class—and Jim, our fantastic guide—enough. We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!! I may even have to surprise my husband and do this again for Christmas, hehe.
