Absolutely Beautiful Lake - Oh, the color!

点评：We visited Moraine Lake on a cool morning which was great for starting with a hike up the RockPile Trail which definitely offers some of the best views of the lake. We arrived around 9:00 AM and there were already a lot of folks at the top when we reached it, however, we noticed later in the morning that it was much more crowded, so you should plan to go as early as possible. (Some shuttle services even offer a sunrise tour, which is probably spectacular.).
After some photos at the top, we head back down and walked the lake side trail which is flat and easy to walk most of the way. You will reach a point where there are some more rough areas of the trail along with some ups and downs as you head beyond the upper reaches of the lake and you have some “waterfall” type creeks feeding into the lake.
Pictures and words can’t really capture how beautiful it is at Moraine Lake, but our family agreed that it was our favorite of the trip.
