点评：Just returned from a bespoke tour of the French Alps that was organised by John for our cycling team. It was epic! As a group, none of us had any experience riding big mountains and John tailored the route to suit us. We had a bucket list of climbs we wanted ticked off and John devised the route based on our abilities. The routes were meticulously planned and there was always an option to do more/less on each day based on your level of fatigue.
John's knowledge of the area meant that he didn't just stick to the well known climbs and was taking us along balcony roads and beautiful back roads that would have been missed had we stuck to the traditional tourist routes.
Everything was very well organised and you had a gpx file the night before to upload to your head unit. The support car was readily available for replenishment of bottles and other refreshments.
Not only can he ride a bike ridiculously well, he takes a great photo and I have literally hundreds of amazing pictures to help remember the trip.
We had bad weather one day and a route was improvised on the spot ensuring we had a great days cycling regardless.
If you are thinking of doing one of John's Tours then I would wholeheartedly recommend doing it. It's one of the best things I have ever done!
