Poor on course treatment
Squamish Valley Golf & Country Club的点评
点评：I was playing at the Squamish Valley Golf and Country Club with a friend and we were paired with another couple. One person we were paired with is a teaching pro from another course in BC and the rest of our foursome were decent golfers. We were playing at a reasonable pace and were surprised when an employee from the pro shop approached us as we were reaching the eighth green, saying our pace was very close to the suggested time but we were falling behind the twosome in front of us. After we finished the hole and approached the ninth tee box the Marshall told us we were behind time. We finished the hole and our time was one minute UNDER the recommended pace of play posted on the sign at the turn. If we were that slow that two people had to come and talk to us between the eighth green and ninth tee box, there’s no way we would make up that time on one hole (which I didn’t play well because I was frustrated with the poor treatment by the course staff). The course was in good condition and the scenery was beautiful but that will be the first and LAST time I’ll ever play there getting pushed to play faster when we were playing at the suggested pace of play. I’m afraid to think of their treatment of us if we were actually behind pace. That was not ok considering we paid $150 a person to play there.
