Excellent semi-private golf course in scenic Squamish
Squamish Valley Golf & Country Club的点评
点评：I play Squamish GC one or two times a year so have reasonable experience there. Playing August 2026 I would comment that the staff were extremely friendly (pro shop, starter, half way snack bar) and the course is in really good shape. Pace of play was reasonable--we finished in just over 4:10 having started just before 0800. They have also purchased new push carts which have proper cup holders, baskets, umbrella holder, and a holder for divot sand bottles (which the starter appropriately made sure everyone was taking).
I have to say, I don't know if the recent renovations have improved the course much; a couple of the new greens (13 and 14) were so bowl shaped and fast that putting would be a challenge for even expert golfers. Maybe this is just whining (I doubled 13 and bogeyed 14) but members I was chatting with weren't too happy either.
Overall however this is a really nice course with a reasonable fee ($89.25 for a senior on a Thursday morning including push cart) and the added bonus of the lovely drive up to Squamish from Vancouver.

不得不说，我不确定最近的翻修是否真的让球场有了多大改善；有几个新果岭（13号和14号）呈碗状且球速极快，就连专业高尔夫球手推杆也会觉得困难重重。也许这只是我的牢骚罢了（我在13号洞打出双柏忌，14号洞则打了三推），不过和我聊天的会员们也显得不太满意。不过总的来说，这是一家非常不错的球场，收费也合理（周四上午，老年人使用推车的费用为89.25美元）。此外，从温哥华开车前往斯阔米什的沿途风景也相当宜人，算是一个额外的惊喜。
