点评：We just spent 7 days and 6 nights with our best-ever guide—and now friend—Shan.
From the moment we met Shan, we knew we had made a perfect choice for our family of Mom and two adult daughters. He was a real professional, but also warm and funny. We sang our way across the island, particularly enjoying a couple of Sinhala and Tamil mix tapes. .
We learned an enormous amount from Shan about the culture and religions of Sri Lanka. He quickly grasped that we were adventurous eaters, so we ate at some wonderful restaurants and got great fruits at roadside stands. His hotel recommendations were also spot on.
In addition to the cultural triangle, we also spent 3 days in Jaffna and the surrounding areas. That was especially interesting.
Shan’s passion for nature and deep knowledge of the birds and fauna of Sri Lanka was a giant plus. He was quick to spot an interesting bird on our drives, and helped us get some wonderful photos.
The roads of Sri Lanka can be hazardous. But he was an excellent driver and we always felt safe.
We highly recommend Shan. He is now my adopted son and friend for life.
