点评:From a parent’s point of view, what a disappointing experience. Not enough classes are offered compared to the size of the student population, making it quite difficult to reach full-time status with relevant and required classes. Not being able to take said required courses may cause the student delayed graduation and incur extra costs. The fees beyond tuition are ridiculous and parking permits are very difficult to get. The worst part of this experience is the aid that was awarded to my student has still not been applied (as of November 3, 2026). Tickets submitted to financial aid go unanswered, and my student was just told that the aid he should have received for this quarter will not be applied until next quarter. That’s an extra $1,700 of unanticipated out-of-pocket expenses. I guess this university is good if you are either above or below a certain financial threshold. Save your money my middle-class friends and send your students to a free California community college or a CSU. Those schools seem to have it together. ***On a side note, my first child graduated from UCSD and did not have these problems, however, it did take almost an entire year for him to receive his diploma after graduating…***
