点评：I took the advice and walked the 1.5 mi mostly along the bluff trail to the Sankaty Lighthouse. It was such a nice walk! Being 71 I had to concentrate on the trail as my balance is not great but would see beautiful flowers and views along the way. I asked a policeman where it started and he directed me between two houses and I had gone down steps to a beach stairwell so I went back up and found a sign. The weather was perfect (60’s and cloudy) otherwise I would not have made it if hot. I went by myself and only saw a couple of couples walking towards town. It took me a few min to find the lighthouse along a paved road. Then walked back to town on the paved road. So glad I did it! Bring water for your trek! The store in town had lots of bakery items and sandwiches. Took the shuttle bus back to Nantucket.
