点评:I was there because it was a port for my cruise. We were amazed at how much there was to see and do there. Everyone was friendly and helpful and they had excellent historical signage, plus a free booklet to guide our visit. Getting from the dock to the town centre was easy with several walkways under major streets. We loved the mural explaining why the town felt they had started the modern practice of trick or treating. Our first stop was the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Museum and Heritage Centre with it's volunteer docents. The museum was excellent but the retired fire service workers observations and answers took the experience up another level.
Two museums we had planned to go to were closed when we were there. The town might not appeal to teenagers but two seniors loved it.

我们在那里时,我们计划去的两个博物馆都关门了。这个小镇可能对青少年没有吸引力,但两位老人却喜欢它。
