Monarto Safari Park的点评
点评：My beautiful daughter gifted us two nights stay at the Monarto Safari Resort for mine and my husband's 12th wedding anniversary. The room faced the waterhole and we were able to catch sight and photos of some of the most precious animals in the park. My husband and I are devoted animal lovers and my daughter knows this, so the experience was bliss for us, this and the knowledge that Monarto Zoo saves some of its species - i.e. the Addax which currently only has less than 100 antelopes left in the world with Monarto owning 15. So for those who have reviewed the park as total rubbish, think again. Monarto isn't just about selling tickets and a good percentage of patronage dollars goes straight into conservation and reproduction programs. My daughter also purchased a twilight safari tour where we could get more personal with species that may not be as visible from the general admission tours. If I was to criticise anything at all, it would be that the resort room should offer a little more for the cost in terms of snacks and/or room service. We were only furnished with tea and coffee facilities. The bed was very comfortable and the room warm and clean. The restaurant served delicious food, but as a vegetarian I didn't have much choice and regretted choosing the children's Margherita pizza which was a stale piece of pitta with some shredded cheese and a wilted basil leaf at a cost of $18.00. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his pork belly and steak on the second night, and the complimentary bread and yummy flavoured butter are to die for.
