点评:Absolutely stunning Roman town, with a breathtaking Amphiteatre, amazing remains of villas and baths ,with more mosaic floors than I've ever seen anywhere else.. It really gives you a clear idea of how huge villas were cheek by jowl with commercial properties, and hiw a town would have looked. Useful information boards at every villa / area. Not as exhausting as Pompeii, and to my mind ,much eadier to interpret. It is very easy , cheap and quick to get to by public transport from Seville. Find your way to the bus station, go down the escalator to the 2nd bay and catch the M170A/B to Santiponce. Runs mainly mornings out and afternoons back for commuters. NB - unlike other buses they ONLY ACCEPT CASH €1.60. You pay the driver directly. Get off 30 mins later at the terminal and walk back about 800yds too the restaurant. Cross over the pedestrian crossing to the site entrance. Cost -€1.90. You are then free to explore the site. Toilets and a little museum are at the entrance. Both included with your entrance fee.I spent nearly 4 hours here, but the tours seem to gallop around in 2hrs or less. Much better and a lot cheaper to DIY! Take stout / comfortable walking shoes, as there is some uneven terrain and there are inclines to negotiate. There is no / little cover either, so dress appropriately, but there are places to sit and have a breather.
