点评:We had a very disappointing experience when we were in Heavenly for skiing between Dec 27th and Dec 30th. The first issue is with the ski organization. On the first day we took lessons, by the time we could get the skis and were transported to california lodge (the Gondolas were not operational that day), it was 1.5 hours. To add to this there was no good vegetarian food options in the ski cafetaria. Of the couple that were available (for $23+) the servers refused to use different spatula to mix vegetarian food inspite of us requesting it. A very bad experience for us. The scenario on Dec 30 was even more worse, it took us 3 hours to get the ski rental (for another class that was booked). And then there was another large waiting time to confirm that the morning class that we had reserved can be taken in the afternoon (we missed the morning timings). Disappointing to know that there is no planning for crowds management or hiring additional resources for peak days. This is the experience when we paid $362 per day for ski lessons. Over all very disappointed to see how the resort is managed and operated. The Heavenly area itself if quite good with some wonderful restaurants and great places to stay. Also Heavenly is convenient because the roads are usually clear so you can drive any vehicle without snow chains on most days.
