Very disappointing, and overpriced for what it is

点评：We planned to visit OM as our destination for lunch )as it used to be so pleasant there, with good food) and to buy some goodies, having walked with the dog from Budleigh.
It has expanded greatly since my last visit, and as my partner knows my love of crab he kindly ordered me a crab bap and he had a ploughman’s lunch. Having been brought up on the coast I adore fresh crab…sadly this tasted nothing like it! The crab was so heavily laden with seasoning and presumably mayonnaise that its natural delicate flavour was non existent leaving nothing but a nasty, sharp vinegary aftertaste. The little there was came served in an anemic roll with no hint of butter, a few crips in a tiny dish (?) and a few uninspiring dressed leaves.
Being a BH Mon it was too busy to bother taking it back so I reluctantly ate most of it, out of sheer hunger but nothing else!!
As another poster commented, we too were disappointed by the ‘freshly baked’ granary bread we bought at almost £4 per loaf.
Our below mediocre lunch with a cup of tea cost almost £34 which is ludicrous for what it was. Personally I wouldn’t have their crab again as a gift!
The young lad server though was very pleasant, sharply contrasted by the lady in the gift shop who curtly told me no dogs were allowed! My mistake!
Perhaps cakes etc are better, but after this expensive unpleasant lunch I would not be inclined to visit again, nor chance another frosty visit to the gift shop!

正如另一位网友所说，我们也对“新鲜出炉”的谷仓面包感到失望，我们买的面包每条要近4英镑。
我们那顿平庸的午餐，加上一杯茶，竟然花了将近34英镑，这价格简直荒唐。我个人不会再把他们的螃蟹当礼物送人了！
不过，服务员那位年轻小伙子非常热情友好，与礼品店里那位女士截然相反，她竟然粗暴地告诉我，不允许带狗！我的错！
也许蛋糕之类的会更好，但吃了这顿昂贵又难吃的午餐后，我再也不会去这家店了，也不会再冒着被冷落的风险去礼品店了！
