点评:Beautiful setting, nice nut blondies - but shame we were made to feel like an inconvenience.
We visited at around 4:15-4:30 and weren’t surprised to learn that they weren’t serving sandwiches anymore. We decided to opt for cheese scones and drinks (scones looked good, but I was worried the texture would be too crumbly for a baby who had just started weaning) and asked if they might be able to toast some bread for the baby - not asking for a freebie, happy to pay the going rate for a slice of toast to allow FOMO-baby to join in. But apparently that wasn’t possible. Cafe staff overall seemed more intent on closing than serving anyone, so we went to the farm shop where we got some bread and blondies - baby enjoyed the bread and we enjoyed peace and quiet. I appreciate the need to close up and leave on time and how much work this can be, but making people feel unwelcome in the process is a little disappointing.
