Barleylands Farm Park的点评
点评：This is my experience of the campsite at Barleylands, we didnt visit the farm but the campsite doesn't have a separate page.
We are from Essex but now live up North and regularly visit Essex to visit friends and family. We use to stay at the caravan club site in Kelvedon but it's now closed. We have stayed at Barleylands site before and not had a good experience with the facilities but thought we would give it another go as its an ideal location.
Firstly the good points, pitches are flat and large and its a tidy site with plenty of bins and facilities were clean.
We booked pitch 20 to be away from the sespit opposite pitch 24 which we had in a previous visit and could smell it.
At this end of the site there is a male and separate ladies toilet block which have 2 toilets and 1 shower each, in our visit the ladies shower was out of order so the only option was to use 1 of the 4 unisex showers akin to festival facilities. The first one trickled water, the 2nd one had a push button that gave a less than 2 second burst of water and you couldn't even hold the button in, the 3rd the button was completely missing, I didnt get to the 4th, admittedly at £27.50 a night its cheap by today's standards but I would rather pay more for better facilities, its such a shame as they let the site down badly.
