An incredible once in a lifetime trip!

From start to finish this was one of the most incredible trips I have ever been on. From the moment my friend and I arrived at the airport, we were greeted by Erin and Heather who took our bags and gave us a bottle of water which was much needed after the long flight. From there on we knew we were in good hands and everything just got better and better. Erin and Heather were so attentive and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand for help with creepy crawlies that snuck into your rooms and naughty baboons causing havoc!
This trip had the perfect balance of relaxation and hard-core safari-ing. I never once worried about what we were doing next or when we would next eat, everything was planned to a T. The food in every place we visited was second to none! As a fussy eater I had some concerns about dining in South Africa but I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The chefs at the lodges were more than accommodating and i can confidently say I have never eaten so much and enjoyed every single bite every single day. Big thank you to Erin and Heather for dealing with my many dietary preferences and sorting it all out with the lodges before we had even arrived.
As for the animals I suppose...early mornings meant we had the best sightings we could possibly ask for. Erin and Heather did their absolute best to see as much as we could and damn did they deliver. Some incredible spots from them both, most of which could be easily missed to the untrained eye. Seeing the Big 5 in the wild alongside painted dogs, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffe and many more was something I will never forget. A couple of personal favourites included seeing dozens of elephants and hippos at a watering hole and watching the elephants fully submerge and play in the water and a picture perfect leopard lying in a tree, nothing but clear skies behind him. Absolutely perfect.
Thank you Erin and Heather so much. You were outstanding. A once in a lifetime trip, absolutely worth every penny and more.
