点评：Avoid this place at all cost!! We visited this game reserve & lodge 9 years ago and it was fabulous. On re booking last year for our trip in February 2026 we were very disappointed in what we found. The lodge has been sold off and the game reserve owner now runs tours from a different location. The approach road to both businesses is in a very poor state, massive holes, uneven surface and very rocky, fine if you have a 4x4 or truck not a small hire car. We drove as far as Belle Wellness (approx 3/4km) and asked that the game drive could come & collect us from there, they requested our name and we were told yes, they would load up the people already there and come get us. We waited, after a short time the lady from Belle came to find us and said they had again asked our name and would be 5/10 minutes. We waited & waited & waited - an hour and 15 minutes!!! Absolute appalling treatment after paying 990zar each. I contacted the property by email and requested an explanation, they apologized for the breakdown in communication on their side and that was it!! I requested a gesture of goodwill as I could not return at a later date as I was returning to Spain, they wrote back offering me an alternative date (another communication problem, they can’t read) I again contacted them and said I could not return as previously mentioned still requesting a good will gesture, no reply, chased, no reply.
Thanks a lot Plettenberg Game Reserve for ruining our trip!!!!

翻译：千万别去这个地方！！九年前我们去过这个野生动物保护区和旅馆，当时感觉棒极了。去年我们再次预订2026年2月的行程，结果却大失所望。旅馆已经卖掉了，野生动物保护区的老板现在在另一个地方经营旅游项目。通往这两个地方的路况非常糟糕，到处都是大坑、路面不平整、布满碎石，如果你开的是四驱车或卡车，那还好，但小型租赁车肯定不行。我们开车到了Belle Wellness（大约3-4公里），问他们是否可以从那里接我们。他们问了我们的名字，我们说可以，他们会先把已经在那里的人接上车，然后再来接我们。我们等了一会儿，Belle的一位女士过来找我们，说他们又问了一遍我们的名字，大概5-10分钟就到。我们等啊等啊等——整整一个小时十五分钟！！！每人付了990兰特，却得到如此糟糕的服务，真是令人发指。我通过邮件联系了酒店，要求他们解释，他们为沟通失误道歉，仅此而已！由于我要返回西班牙，无法改期入住，所以我请求他们给予一些补偿。他们回复邮件，提出给我一个替代日期（又是沟通问题，他们根本看不懂邮件内容）。我再次联系他们，重申我无法改期入住，并再次请求他们给予一些补偿，但依然杳无音信。我催促了好几次，还是没有回复。

真是太感谢普莱滕贝格野生动物保护区毁了我们的旅行了！！！！
