Two Magical Winter Visits to Upper Town

点评：We visited Upper Town in November 2025 and returned in January 2026, and both trips were beautifull. The German Christmas Market created such a festive atmosphere, while the chocolate sculptures at Château Frontenac were impressive and fun to discover. We also followed the winter route lit by 75,000 lights, beginning at Place d’Youville and continuing along Rue Saint-Jean, Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville, Château Frontenac, and the Frontenac staircase. The glowing streets and historic surroundings made the whole experience very unique. Along the way, we found plenty of inviting restaurants and interesting shops, including the charming Boutique de Noël de Québec. Riding the 1884 Glissade Dufferin on Terrasse Dufferin was another highlight, and we enjoyed visiting the historic Parc Montmorency as well. Upper Town is magical in winter and deserves five stars.
