Scafell Pike Mountain的点评
点评：We walked to Scafell from Boot via Hard Rigg, a longer route but well worth the views. After Scafell we walked down Foxes Tarn, then headed up Michael door to the summit of Scafell Pike, if anyone reading is thinking about doing the same route, just be warned lots of loose rock, In places there no paths despite maps showing footpaths, some bits are just gorges, so be careful will include pictures of foxes tarn for your reference.
When up Scafell Pike it’s self it’s brilliant. Stunning views!! My photos won’t do it justice. We headed down home via the main route ending up in campsite. The path way is very easy to follow, loose underfoot 60-70% of the pathway, so sensible footwear is a must. Also in times of high rainfall near the start you cross the stream so make sure you keep your feet dry for the climb. Picture of stream near start included.
