点评：We booked our gorilla trekking trip through The Earth Safari who in turn tied up with Exclusive African Adventures and overall had a very good experience. Daniel, our guide, was attentive, kept us well informed about what to expect throughout the journey, and ensured we got there and back safely. He went out of his way to check in with us at every step and make sure we were comfortable. The accommodations he arranged—Hotel des Mille Collines in Kigali and Four Gorillas Lodge in Bwindi—were excellent choices: comfortable, welcoming, and well located. Border crossings also went smoothly thanks to his organization.
The only negative was an issue with the gorilla permit. When we arrived at the ranger station, the permit itself was not in hand due to an office mix-up. Thankfully, there was a receipt of payment, so we were eventually allowed to proceed. However, this caused a significant delay, and as a result we were assigned a nearby gorilla family instead of trekking further. While the experience was still unforgettable, we would have preferred a longer trek given the effort it takes to reach Bwindi.
Despite this hiccup, everything else went as planned, and we truly appreciated Daniel’s professionalism and care. Overall, a positive experience with Exclusive African Adventures, with just one area of improvement needed around permit handling.
