点评：I recently used Vietnam Locals Travel Co for a trip from Phong Nha to our hotel in Hoi An, Vietnam. It’s typically a 6 hour drive but we requested to stop at several tourist destinations along the way which extended it to 12 hours. During one of our stops the driver went through my bag and STOLE $3,500 USD. His name is Mr. Hiep (phone number +84 90 916 6825)
After arriving at our hotel, I discovered that $3,500 USD was missing from my bag. I immediately called the driver and he hung up on me when I asked about the missing money. I then called the company to speak with the representative that we had been working with, Sunny (phone number +84 38 514 3664). She denied this was possible and informed me the entire trip is recorded and they will send the video.
Despite my repeated requests, they only provided small snippets of the footage, not the full video. I requested the video 27 times in writing and even provided a shared drive when she said the video was too large. I had 2 separate hotels reach out to assist and they still would not provide the video. Sunny eventually claimed the video was automatically deleted and could not be retrieved. If they had nothing to hide they would have sent the video.
This company is DISHONEST and protect their THIEF employee. Do not use their services. I filed a police report in Hoi An, but it was of no help. Attached is a copy of the police report. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Vietnam Locals Travel Co at all costs.
