点评：Recently took a private lesson with an instructor at Escuela Técnica Sierra Nevada, choosing them based on strong reviews. We clearly specified when booking that we needed English-speaking instruction focused on improving our skiing technique (we regularly take lessons at various resorts and know what to expect). Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment.
The instructor did not speak English, despite our explicit advance request—this made communication very limited. Instead of technique analysis, corrections, and drills, the lesson turned into a casual ride around the slopes: the instructor just led the way, pointing out runs and resort areas, with zero feedback or actual teaching. We received no useful tips on technique—it felt more like a guided tour than a lesson.
We emailed the school immediately after, asking them to address the issue and at least partially refund us. They apologized and offered a discount on another lesson with a different instructor, but ignored our request for a refund (considering our limited time at the resort, we had already booked elsewhere). It's been over a week with no further response.
Really sorry to waste time and money on this. I recommend other ski schools in Sierra Nevada with a more professional approach. If you're looking for real instruction, not just a ride around—look elsewhere.
