Great tour, an even better guide
Luxury Irish Tours的点评
点评：Our family of 4 visited Ireland in May 2025. We worked with Claire to create an itinerary. We didn’t want or need to do ALL the tourist highlights, but did want a few, along with some less frequented places. She was knowledgeable and easy to work with and set us up for success, especially with our guide, Des.
From his prior job (with a well known Irish stout beer company), his knowledge of history, his talent for story telling, and his keen ability to know what his guests need, he became a highlight, in and of himself. Would we have loved what we saw without Des? Yes. But it wouldn’t be as memorable.
A few things we enjoyed:
Newgrange, Guinness and Jamison tours, walking food tour in Dublin, Powerscourt Gardens, Ross Castle, drinks at the bar with locals in Killarney, having a go at hurling, falconry at Dromoland Castle, lunch in Ennis and many, many more.
The only thing I’d do differently is stay more in the tourist center of Dublin, not at Camden Court, just for convenience.
Don’t hesitate to use Luxury Irish Tours, and be sure to request Des.
