Best way to see Scotland in a week on your own custom tour!

点评：This was a fantastic trip! Gus was the perfect guide and driver - he is a master story teller and history teacher and we learned so much more than anticipated about Scottish history, geography, sites, etc. We saw more and learned way more than anticipated! The van with his speaker system so we could hear was perfect for us. No need to hire a separate tour of any of the castles or battlefield as we had our own expert explaining all to us on the way to each site!
There was a ferry schedule change and our driver Gus managed the ferry change etc for us so we didn't have to do anything.
Ross puts in a lot of activities so you know all the options. We did most but also opted for later checkouts due to jet lag etc. This is a totally private tour so you can change whatever you want and your driver will accommodate and recommend changes based on what you want to do. Our only regret was that we wish we had gone more than a week. We did one night on the isle of Mull in Tobermary but wish we had time to explore the island and neighboring islands with a few more days there.
Anyway, a great trip and we will highly recommend to anyone wanting to do totally custom and private deep dive into Scotland, it's beauty and history.
