点评：This is a wonderful way to learn about India's greatest wildlife and their remarkable conservation efforts. A must see, especially if you have been to Africa as the topography, parks and beasts are magically different. You will stay in luxury tented accommodations, enjoy remarkably kind staff, hosts and iconic cuisine. One night in Pench Park we stayed in the Sky Bed. Try it and reserve it! For about $100 upgrade (proceeds go to the land owner as a conservation incentive to minimize buffer zone human-wildlife conflict) you sleep under the stars in a tented platform like the region's farmers who guard their fields against the evening's marauding deer, boar etc. You awake to hot coffee and a peaceful sunrise. The best part of this trip, as all trips, is the guide, Indrajit Latey. Indrajit can spot a tiger a mile away, has a masters degree in conservation and has decades of experience. In the off season he teaches environmental & conservation courses at the university. He is fun and so well versed on all aspects of Indian culture, geology, sociology, etc. Fascinating to learn from and a true asset to Wilderness Travel guests. There is nothing quite like seeing a tiger in the wild. They are fearless, majestic and illusive. Some guests see none (rarely) but they see you. Some guests see 20 in a day on safari. The trip is designed for all abilities and will be one of life's greatest memories.
