Don't skip to dip into the fjords of Norway

点评：A few years ago we did a Peru walking trip with Wilderness which was excellent, the agenda and guide beyond expectations. Therefore this July we embarked on another trip with them, this time the "Hiking in Norway's Fjord Country" which was just as great! Our guide proved to be superb, who in spite of being from Scotland, knew Norway like a native. She was personable, funny, accommodating, flexible, a hard worker. Without her encouragement and demonstration we would not have dipped into the really cold fjords, several times, but none of us regretted it. We earned our bragging rights. Our hikes took us to higher magnificent sites, viewing the fjords from above was more exhilarating than from the water level. No wonder most of the travel photos of fjords are taken from above. We thoroughly enjoyed the goat farm where we got to see how they milk them and we tasted their special brown cheese. There were numerous activities that entertained us and informed us about the history of and life in Norway. Our accommodations and programs were carefully selected providing us with ways to mingle with Norwegian people of all generations.
