Value for money Spa, treatment and afternoon tea.
Macdonald Berystede Hotel Spa的点评
点评：On arrival we were met with friendly staff and told to get a free drink ( these were available throughout our visit) while we filled in the necessary forms.
We were given robes, towels and slippers to wear during the visit.
The pool area had plenty of loungers for you to use. There were bins around the side as drinks were allowed pool side so people could clear up after themselves once they had finished them.
The hydro pool had both an internal and external side - again lots of seating available.
The extra rooms of steam, sauna and ice room were a great additions.
There down side of this part of our visit was minimal. The slippers even though, non slip couldn’t cope with a saturated pool side. The pool wasn’t busy when we arrived but there were towels on every longer and no one using them. Not enough people around inside or outside to cover the amount of loungers being used. There were a couple of chairs that we could place our things onto while we were in the pool but no where to sit in comfort after our swim.
The therapy rooms were amazing. There was an area to wait in away from the hustle of the main reception area. My therapist , Laura S, was lovely. Made me feel relaxed and worked on the areas that I requested more attention to. All in all a very relaxed massage. Once finished you could continue your relaxation in a chill out area where water was on tap to rehydrate and just savour the moment of tranquility.
Afternoon tea was included. Set in the restaurant area. Servers were around if we needed anything otherwise they let us be and didn’t constantly check in to see how we were doing.
All in all for the price ( under £100) we had a lovely day and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.
