Pretty waterfall, not so pretty price tag 💸🌿

点评：Lydford Gorge is a beautiful National Trust site, with a lovely 45-minute circular walk and a very pretty waterfall at the end. Definitely bring a map on your phone (I used AllTrails), as the map provided is a bit vague.
That said, at £11 per person, I’m not sure it’s quite worth the price. There are plenty of other waterfalls you can visit for free, so while it’s a lovely walk, your wallet may not be as impressed as you are! 😂
One VERY important warning: be careful when driving to the car park. Take the main road around the moors rather than following your sat nav through the middle. We ignored this advice from Google and ended up on tiny roads, ridiculous sharp bends and bridges that frankly looked like they were designed before cars existed. 😂 It took us 1 hour 40 minutes to get back to our campsite and was genuinely the longest drive of my life. Terrifying!
