点评:Unfortunately, our spa experience started off badly despite having booked three months in advance. I arrived with my mum hoping to relax and enjoy the experience, but it felt rushed from the beginning. After check-in and filling out forms, our shoes were taken and slippers given, and we were shown the lockers, changing rooms, and facilities.
We were shown the hydro pool, which was mixed-gender, so I couldn’t use it as I cover and wear hijab. The jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room were separate, which was fine, however when we entered the jacuzzi the water was cold. When we asked what was going on, we were told it was closed for maintenance, which was extremely frustrating — especially as no one informed us beforehand. I was freezing, and due to limited English among some staff, it was difficult to communicate and understand what was happening.
We then moved to the steam room, which was also not functioning properly, with very little steam. At this point it became frustrating, constantly waiting and looking for staff to fix things. This initial experience really ruined the mood and relaxation we were expecting.
Eventually, we decided to start our treatments. We had a Turkish bath and Moroccan bath, which I must say were the best I’ve ever had. Hind and Sukayna were absolutely amazing — very professional, attentive, and detailed in their work. After that, we had massages which were also lovely.
While the treatments themselves were excellent, the poor start and lack of communication left a sour taste overall.
