点评:As mentioned in a previous review, the Eiji Tsuburaya Museum is located on the fifth floor of the Sukagawa Community Center, and occupies a portion of the area. On display are a number of exhibits dedicated to the life and works of the special effects master, shelves of related books on the subject, models and figures of the fantastic vehicles and terrifying monsters that he & his team brought to life in movies and TV. There is also a wonderful diorama of the Toho Studios special effects stage and The Big Pool. There are also showings of the museum exclusive 'Godzilla Attacks Sukagawa' live-action special effects movie that was quite enjoyable.
At the time of our visit, we were allowed to take photos within the museum, but were also asked not to photograph nor video record the movie, and had a staff member on watch to prevent that.
Since the museum can be thoroughly experienced in an hour or so, our tour group also explored the area for the Ultraman street statues, and visited the Sukagawa Tokusatsu Archives Center within the same day, to make it a full excursion from Tokyo.
