I read about the Sausmarez Manor Ghost Tour on the website and booked a tour which was led by Peter himself; a small group of 6 of us made of an intimate experience. It was a thoroughly interesting and entertaining hour.
Peter is a gifted story teller, he shared his knowledge of the history of the Manor, his family, and the resident ghosts. We were assured all the ghosts are friendly!
While non of the ghosts made themselves know to us, Peter’s descriptions of their antics in the house kept us guessing and hoping they would let their presence be known.
I had read about the ghost of Nanny, and to hear Peter’s family experience of her was amazing.
We finished the tour in the beautiful dining room where a glass of wine was waiting for us. Some of the others on the tour shared their own experiences which rounded off our evening.
All in all a very enjoyable evening, a tour well worth experiencing.
The proceeds support the family to maintain the Manor.
