Walking safari through the Loita Hills to the Nashulai Maasai Conservancy

点评：It was a stunning safari arranged by Stuart from Nashulai Journeys. It started off at the RedTribe camp close to the Tanzanian border for 2 nights giving me a chance to meet Maasai from the local community, walk in the forest and see colobus monkeys.
For the next three nights Patrick, a very experienced Maasai guide, and a team of 3 other Maasai ensured I had a terrific, eye opening and rewarding journey through the Loita Hills. We camped every night, built a fire and ate well with the provisions carried by a pack of 5 donkeys.
We met with the local Maasai and saw zebra, wildebeest and gazelles up close on the way. The scenery is absolutely stunning. For the last night of the safari I stayed at the very comfortable Oldarpoi Mara Camp with its stunning views from the swimming pool.
The next morning we were in the Maasai Mara for sunrise and saw leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes and hippos before heading back to Nairobi. It was a truly awesome safari.
