点评：On 18th June 2025, I visited Fosse Park and must express my strong dissatisfaction with the situation I encountered. I saw a lady with a rollator frame veering dangerously into the road because she couldn't navigate the ramp. This obvious design flaw is unacceptable and could have been easily prevented. I used the ramp in both directions and found it was a struggle each way. I use a manual self-propelling wheelchair, and I found that the camber and gradient of the ramp were too severe. It was difficult to control the direction of my wheelchair.
Placing a flowerbed where a properly designed ramp should be is a misguided decision. While able-bodied individuals can traverse the flat, smooth pavement without issue, those of us in wheelchairs, or anyone unable to manage steps, are left facing significant barriers.
I demand to know what the design team was thinking. Is this even compliant with accessibility regulations? The ramp's camber and steepness are not just inconvenient; they are hazardous. While I possess strong upper body strength, not all wheelchair users do, and this issue must be addressed immediately. It is a matter of time before someone is seriously injured.
